Badland

Jerry (Jamie Draven) began as an idealist during the first Gulf War. In a later deployment to Iraq, he was an older man, a father of three, embittered by broken promises and unfulfilled desires. When he returned from Iraq, he was transformed by horrors that could not be forgiven. He lived a life of poverty, his children afraid of him and his wife, Nora (Vinessa Shaw), unsympathetic and unhappy. When Jerry discovered that Nora had betrayed him, his anger and despair drove him to commit an act so heinous and irreversible that nothing he had experienced in combat could have prepared him for.
