Barefoot in the Park
This film adaptation of a Neil Simon stage hit follows Corie, a free-spirited newlywed, and Paul Bratter, a meticulous attorney, as they share a sixth-floor Greenwich Village apartment. Shortly after tying the knot, Corie seeks companionship for her mother, Ethel, who is left solitary, pairing her with the neighbor Victor. An awkward double date spirals into discord, pushing the couple toward contemplating divorce.
