Bastard Out of Carolina
In poverty-stricken South Carolina, a mother and daughter confront painful, defining choices fueled by resolve and pride. Bone, the eldest daughter, and Anney, her exhausted mother, find their bond alternately drawing them together and pushing them apart, with Anney viewing Glen as her last chance.
