Sunny runs a modest livestock farm and leads a simple, content life with his mother, Sumitra. To modernize the operation, Sumitra decides to move abroad to bring in new equipment for the farm, leaving Sunny to manage things on his own. One day, while distributing eggs and chickens, Sunny clashes with Roma Singh; their petty quarrel escalates, and as part of her punishment, Roma is tasked with rebuilding Sunny's farmhouse. Through this experience they realize they are childhood lovers and rekindle their romance. They plan to marry, but Roma's father, the wealthy and renowned businessman Sardar Dinesh Singh Girji, stands in their way and will go to great lengths to prevent Roma and Sunny from meeting or marrying.
