Seema enjoys a life of privilege in Bombay with her widowed mother. Her mother is a compassionate landlord who rents out several rooms in a self-owned building, a home to very poor and nearly destitute tenants. She frequently goes beyond the call of duty, aiding her tenants financially and giving them time to raise the rent. Seema, longing for a luxurious lifestyle, has sold the building to Bihari and plans to evict the tenants by force. Watch what happens when Seema’s mother and Rajan decide to confront her in a bid to stop the sale.
