Black Burns Fast

Black Burns Fast is a queer, offbeat coming-of-age drama set at a prestigious boarding school in South Africa. 17-year-old Luthando, adorably awkward and full of charm, is on track for a routine academic year until Ayanda's arrival at the school upends her world. In the wake of this disruption, Luthando grapples with balancing multiple identities to prevent rejection from her mother and her peers as she comes to terms with her sexuality.
