Black Venus
The true account of Saartje Baartman, a Black South African worker who relocates to London with her master in the early 19th century. While nurturing dreams of artistic cultivation, she becomes subjected to exploitation in Europe, displayed as a sideshow attraction because of her pronounced physical features—her large buttocks and genitalia.
