Blade of the Immortal
Manji is a blunt, brutal samurai whose extraordinary gift is that he cannot die. Immortality is a curse bestowed by the nun Yobikuni as punishment for his ruthless deeds, and he has grown weary of an ageless life. The sole means to lift the curse is to kill 1,000 evil men. So Manji traverses Japan, shedding the blood of the wicked in his relentless quest to die at last.
