Blue Exorcist
In the worlds of Assiah and Gehenna, humans reside in Assiah while demons inhabit Gehenna. The two dimensions are not meant to interfere, yet demons still possess humans in Assiah. Those capable of fighting them are known as exorcists. Rin Okumura bears the curse of being Satan's illegitimate son. His foster father sacrifices himself to save him from demonic forces. Driven by vengeance for his guardian's death and determined to prove himself, Rin chooses the path of an exorcist and vows to defeat his own father, Satan. To hone his raw abilities, Rin enrolls in True Cross Academy to train with other exorcist candidates.
