Adapted from Yoshio Sawai’s manga, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo stands among the quirkiest, most entertaining anime comedies, renowned for pun-filled humor, cross-dressing gags, and a wealth of visual jokes. Set in the year 300X, an evil faction—the Bald Empire (Margarita Empire)—plans to conquer the world by stealing everyone’s hair. Led by Emperor Baldy Bald, they must be stopped by Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, who is determined to derail their scheme. Trained to ‘hear the voices of the hair,’ he can marshal his own body hair to perform a variety of martial arts feats in defense.
