Bonanza: The Next Generation

This is the ongoing saga of the Cartwrights, but none of the original family remain—only their sons. Ben and Hoss are gone, and Little Joe is MIA after traveling with Theodore Roosevelt. Ben's brother, Aaron, now runs the Ponderosa, where Little Joe's wife Annie also makes her home. His son, Benjamin, has returned from the East. Charlie Poke is a man who owes his life to Ben Cartwright and now serves as the ranch foreman, though he does not see eye to eye with Aaron. Aaron has granted a mining company access to work on the Ponderosa, but the man at the helm harbors his own plans. And Josh, Hoss's son who has yet to be seen by anyone, has arrived at the Ponderosa intent on killing Hoss, believing that Hoss deserted him and his mother, unaware that Hoss died before he could return to bring his mother back to the ranch.
