Katie, once a professional ice skater, is enlisted by King Alexander of San Senova to assist his daughter with a Christmas ice-skating performance. As Katie spends time in the castle and in the king's company, she and Alexander grow closer and ultimately fall in love. But will the tradition-loving people of San Senova permit their king to make a foreigner their queen?
