Japan has been invaded and conquered by the Britannian Empire, now rebranded as Area 11, where its people are designated as Elevens. The Britannian regime strips Japan of autonomous power and enforces its rule through Knightmares. While the Empire's grip remains unbroken, cracks have begun to show.
