Cold Squad
Cold Squad is a Canadian police procedural television series that premiered in 1998 and followed the investigations of a segment of the Vancouver Police Department's Homicide Division charged with solving cold cases—the Cold Squad—led by Sergeant Ali McCormick, portrayed by Julie Stewart. The cast was diverse and fluid, with McCormick the only character to appear in all seven seasons. Between seasons two and three, almost every on-screen cast member aside from Julie Stewart was replaced. This transition was accompanied by new sets, a substantial revamp of the opening credits and theme music, and even a change in McCormick's hair from auburn to dirty-blonde, all contributing to a significant reworking of the series.
