Conan the Adventurer

Conan: The Adventurer is an American live-action television series conceived, developed, financed, distributed and produced by Max A. Keller and Micheline Keller, airing from 1997 to 1998 and loosely inspired by Conan the Barbarian. The program debuted on September 22, 1997, and completed a 22-episode run. It has been broadcast in more than 150 countries worldwide. Keller Entertainment Group continues to market and distribute the series globally, and the show enjoys enduring appeal among international broadcasters and DVD distributors. Plans indicate its forthcoming availability on the internet. The live-action series stars Ralf Möller as Conan of Cimmeria and Danny Woodburn as his sidekick Otli. The narrative diverges from the Conan lore created by Robert E. Howard as well as from the Conan material previously depicted in Marvel Comics. The television character is based on the 1980s film version, but there is no continuity between the films and the TV series.
