Cookers
After purloining a colossal stash of drugs, two speed-obsessed fugitives, Hector and Dorena, set out to synthesize an enormous batch of crystal meth and strike it rich. Hector's old friend Merle provides the ideal hideout—a deserted farmhouse deep in the woods that promises absolute anonymity as a makeshift meth lab. Yet no one will hear their screams either. It becomes clear they may not be alone after all. The farmhouse, steeped in a brutal urban legend, becomes the backdrop. Trapped together with nothing to do but snort, smoke, and shoot up, the strung-out 'cookers' descend into paranoia and wrestle with private demons and visions—whether they are hallucinations or hauntings, they are equally terrifying and deadly.
