Corrina, Corrina
Following the death of Manny Singer's wife, his young daughter Molly becomes mute and withdrawn. To help care for Molly, he hires sassy housekeeper Corrina Washington, whose warmth coaxes Molly from her reserve and introduces father and daughter to a fresh, fuller way of life. The growing friendship between Manny and Corrina delights Molly and provokes anger among the townspeople.
