Crescendo

Set in the late eighties, three close friends Yi Wei, Chu Fan, and Da Wei forge a band called Crescendo, born of their shared love for music. After graduation, they launch Crescendo Music Company to turn their aspirations into reality. Years later, Crescendo has carved out a firm foothold in the industry, nurturing numerous homegrown talents, and the trio finds that their dreams have been realized. Yet Singapore's music scene has shifted in recent years, with fewer youths drawn to Xin Yao music. Crescendo Music School now confronts operational and financial challenges. Then Chu Fan's ex-wife Mei Ling returns from overseas, seeing Crescendo's potential and seeking to invest. Da Wei's crush, Xue Li, also returns to join as a vocal coach at Crescendo. With these arrivals, the three friends become enmeshed in a web of complicated love affairs. A misunderstanding leads Chu Fan to accuse Mei Ling of wrongdoing.
