This film traces the life and times of R. Crumb. As the cartoonist and visual artist behind Keep On Truckin' and Fritz the Cat, Robert Crumb helped inaugurate the underground comix movement with a pivotal pioneering role. Through interviews with his mother, two brothers, his wife, ex-wife, and ex-girlfriends, along with selections from his extensive graphic-art corpus, viewers are taken on a darkly comic odyssey into one man's subconscious mind.
