Daffy Duck's Quackbusters

This feature-length blend fuses classic Warner Bros. cartoon shorts with newly animated bridging sequences. Daffy Duck, after having caused laughter in an ailing millionaire and delaying the man's death for a time (as chronicled in Daffy Dilly, 1948), becomes the heir to the deceased's fortune. But the will plainly requires that Daffy deploy the money for the public good by offering a service, and if he pursues selfish aims, the millionaire's ghost will reclaim the fortune by erasing it from existence. Assuming a guise of community service, Daffy launches an exorcism agency and hires Porky Pig, Sylvester Cat, and Bugs Bunny to track down and banish ghosts, ghouls, and other monsters, while Daffy secretly schemes to use his newly learned ghost busting skills to rid himself of the nagging spirit of the millionaire.
