Before joining Scooby and the gang, the hopeful Daphne and the razor-sharp Velma are mystery-solving teens and best friends who have only met online - until now. Daphne transfers to Velma's Ridge Valley High, a cutting-edge academy stocked with the latest gadgets courtesy of tech billionaire Tobias Bloom. As fierce competition for a coveted internship at Bloom Innovative heats up, Daphne and Velma probe beneath the gadgetry to uncover why some of the school's brightest students vanish, only to reappear in a zombie-fied state.
