Death Flies East
Evelyn Vail, a nurse convicted of poisoning a patient, is released on parole and travels to Sing-Sing to confront the death-row inmate who originally accused her. On board the airliner, she meets John Robinson Gordon, who is transporting a revolutionary munitions formula to Washington, D.C. Another passenger, Baker, complains of being poisoned and deplanes during a Dallas stopover. Returning to flight, Gordon’s bodyguard, Lieutenant O'Brien, suffers the same fate, this time with fatal consequences. The plane returns to Dallas, where Police Captain Barrie accuses Evelyn of the crime. Ultimately, Gordon proves her innocence and the real culprit is unmasked.
