Deca-Dence

Years have passed since humanity was driven to the brink of extinction by the sudden emergence of the enigmatic life forms known as Gadoll. The remaining survivors inhabit a 3000-meter-tall mobile fortress called Deca-dence, built to shield them from the Gadoll threat. Inside Deca-dence, residents fall into two roles: Gears, warriors who wage daily battles against the Gadoll, and Tankers, those lacking the skills to fight. One day, Natsume, a Tanker girl who dreams of becoming a Gear, meets the surly Kaburagi, an armor repairman of Deca-dence. This encounter between two opposites—the optimistic dreamer who never gives up and the realist who has given up—will ultimately alter the future course of their world.
