Deserts
Mehdi and Hamid, longtime friends, work for a debt-collection agency and traverse southern Morocco's villages in their aging car. They share cramped rooms in shabby hotels, and they are exact twins in size, dressed in identical suits and ties with matching shoes. Paid barely enough, they hustle to project success. One day, at a gas station planted in the middle of the desert, a motorcycle pulls up in front of them; a man is handcuffed to the luggage rack, threatening. It’s the Evader. Their encounter heralds the start of an unforeseen and mystical journey.
