Destination Moon
A triad of expertise—a renowned aerospace scientist, a former Air Force general, and a savvy industrialist—envisions an ambitious mission to land Americans on the moon. Operating from a Mojave Desert base, they engineer and launch the spacecraft Luna, carrying four astronauts. A critical miscalculation of the propulsion power required to break free from the moon’s gravity threatens the crew’s safety.
