Private Detective Kiyoshi Mitarai and Miyuki Ogawa arrive in Fukuyama, Hiroshima Prefecture, drawn to a case involving discovered bodies. The corpses were found adrift in the Seto Inland Sea, a region where the currents repeat on a six-hour cycle.
