At an American high school party, Emily experiments with a Ouija board and unwittingly becomes the host to the sadistic killer's soul that once terrorized Westlake. The haunting is unleashed by an Ouija app engineered by charismatic Owen, a wealthy teen obsessed with the supernatural. Now, Emily's boyfriend Tommy must join forces with Owen, his rival for her affections and former best friend, and a defrocked Jesuit priest turned occult expert to stage a dangerous, ad-hoc exorcism before Emily is consumed by evil and the demonic infection spreads through the school.
