Don Quixote
Adapted from the work of Miguel de Cervantes, this is the tale of a hidalgo consumed by his passion for chivalry novels, who loses his wits and, believing himself to be a knight named Don Quixote de La Mancha, sets out on imagined adventures with his simple farmer companion, Sancho Panza, who becomes his loyal squire. On their journeys they rescue dames in distress in noble acts and face giants among other perils, with Don Quixote longing to be with the love of his life, Dulcinea, and Sancho hoping for a reward in the form of an island where he's about to become governor.
