Donkey Kong Country

Set on Kongo Bongo Island, this animated saga follows Donkey Kong, the island's resident champion. Long before the present timeline, a magical relic known as the Crystal Coconut entrusts him with the island's future as ruler, a bond forged with a spirit called Inka Dinka Doo. In the current day, Donkey Kong earns his right through daring feats and by steadfastly guarding the Crystal Coconut. Joined by his loyal allies, Diddy Kong, his best friend and sidekick, and Cranky Kong, his mentor, he defends the precious artifact from a range of threats, most prominently King K. Rool and his Kremling army, who scheme to seize it and wield power over Kongo Bongo. Throughout, Donkey Kong must balance his duties as protector with his social life, his ongoing relationship with Candy Kong, and his unabashed love of bananas.
