Doppelgänger
A planet is discovered in the same orbit as Earth but situated on the Sun's exact opposite side, rendering it invisible from Earth. The European Space Exploration Council decides to send American astronaut Glenn Ross and British scientist John Kane aboard a spacecraft to explore the other planet.
