Double Mommy
After a summer apart before their senior year, Ryan and Jess reignite their relationship and discover Jess is pregnant with twins. When Ryan's mother demands a paternity test, it reveals that Ryan is the father of only one baby; the other father is Ryan's best friend Brent, whom Ryan discovers date-raped Jess at a summer party. 4 stars for what it is. What it is is a well made thriller. Acting nice, filming nice, storyline nice. No, it's not original but unless you're really, really young, you've seen this type of story loads of times before. Yes, it's predictable to a point, but there aren't tons of stories out there that aren't predictable. The characters are a bit cookie cutter, but they work for the story. Nice background movie to watch/listen-to when you're doing other things. I'm pretty sure this wasn't meant to be an award winner or thought provoking but just to entertain you for a while.
