Dreamchild
At eighty years old, Alice Hargreaves is poised to visit Columbia University for a reception in honour of author Lewis Carroll. In childhood, her close friendship with the writer served as the creative spark behind Carroll's most cherished work. Yet as Alice looks back on her experiences with him, she realises that the depth and complexity of their bond has left enduring, deeply felt consequences.
