Ef: A Tale Of Memories & Melodies

On Christmas Eve, Hiro Hirono crosses paths with Miyako Miyamura, a girl who is chasing a purse snatcher. He later learns that Miyako attends the same school as him, and the two begin to hang out. This leaves Hiro's childhood friend, Kei Shindō, feeling left out, prompting her to vie with Miyako for Hiro's affection and spawning a love triangle. Meanwhile, Renji Asō meets Chihiro Shindō at an abandoned train station. He soon discovers that Chihiro suffers from an amnesia where her memory lasts for only 13 hours. He also uncovers Chihiro's dream of writing a novel, a dream she has never been able to fulfill because of her condition. Renji then resolves to help her fulfill that dream.
