Elfen Lied

The Diclonius is a mutated human foretold to be chosen by a higher power and fated to spell humanity's downfall. Borne with twin horns and a latent sixth sense that grants telekinetic prowess, this dangerous being is imprisoned in government laboratories. Lucy, a young and unstable Diclonius, breaks free and mercilessly massacres most of the guards as she escapes, only to be shot in the head. She survives and washes up on a beach, where two teenagers, Kouta and Yuka, discover her. Stripped of her memories, she can only utter the word Nyuu, and they permit her to stay at Kouta's home. Yet the malevolent Lucy is not truly gone.
