Elsa & Fred
After his daughter persuades him to move into a new apartment, widowed Fred forms an unlikely friendship with his eccentric 74-year-old neighbor Elsa, who convinces him that it's never too late to savor life. Though he had resigned himself to a miserable, bedridden existence, Fred is swept up by Elsa's vitality as she regales him with outlandish stories from her past. When he discovers Elsa is terminally ill, he joins her on the trip of her dreams to the eternal city of Rome to help her fulfill a lifelong ambition.
