Roy and John execute a daring rescue of a man whose engine has fallen on him during a car repair. With their two-way radio broken, Roy treats the man without proper medical supervision, provoking the patient’s doctor to attack the paramedic program. The sequence also includes a bull that gores a motorcyclist, a doctor on a hospital consult who dies of a heart attack, and Roy rescuing a child from a house fire.
