Robert, a middle-aged gay man, embarks on a personal documentary project that traces his lengthy history of failed relationships. A professional yet emotionally vulnerable figure, he resolves to interview six of his ex-boyfriends, each one marking a distinct chapter in his love life. His aim is to uncover why these relationships ended and to use the documentary as a vehicle for personal growth—or so he believes. Supported by his sister Deborah, Robert prepares for the emotionally demanding journey that lies ahead.
