Florida, Man
Evan, a filmmaker from Mississippi, falls for a woman he meets at a found-footage film festival in San Francisco. They join forces to make a movie together, journeying into the haunted landscapes of Evan's family history in Florida's swampy swamplands. Old wounds reopen, and generational trauma proves to be perhaps the scariest aspect of this ambitious mockumentary that ends up feeling a little too real.
