Frankenstein is a 2007 British television film produced by Impossible Pictures for ITV. Penned and directed by Jed Mercurio, it reimagines Mary Shelley’s classic tale within a contemporary setting. Dr. Victoria Frankenstein, a female geneticist, unintentionally brings a monster to life while cultivating her son’s clone from stem cells to serve as an organ donor in a bid to stave off his imminent death.
