Freeze
In a past blaze, Baek Joong-won saved the vampire Ehwa from being burned at the stake by wary villagers. As they fled together, Joong-won fell from a cliff, and Ehwa saved him with her blood, transforming him into a vampire. Now in modern Seoul, the 350-year-old Joong-won runs a sumptuous wine bar in Gangnam, alongside Ehwa. Though she harbors affection for him, she can only watch and shield him from afar, as he has long sealed away any new emotion. One day, a former lover—human, whom he left without revealing his true nature twenty years earlier—sends him a letter. In her note, the dying woman asks Joong-won to look after her daughter, Ji-woo. After the mother's funeral, Ji-woo discovers a photograph her mother cherished and sets out to find the man in the picture, her mother's long-lost lover. When she locates Joong-won, she believes he is the son of the man in the photo. As Joong-won spends time with Ji-woo, the years-long frost around his heart begins to melt, and the two fall in love. Ehwa struggles to come to terms with this development. Meanwhile, a serial killer who drains blood from victims stalks the city.
