Rollie Tyler, formerly an F/X artist, has become a toy maker. His girlfriend Kim's ex-husband, Mike, is a police officer and asks Rollie to help capture a killer. The operation proceeds smoothly until an unknown man kills both the killer and Mike. Mike's boss, Silak, claims the killer was responsible for Mike's death, but Rollie knows that isn't true. With suspicions aimed at Silak, Silak summons Leo McCarthy—the detective from the previous film, now a private investigator—for assistance, and together they uncover that the danger extends beyond Silak alone.

Not as good as the first but still plenty of fun elements and liked seeing Bryan Brown and Brian Dennehy working together (we only get a glimpse at the end of the first film). Nothing special and not exactly a necessary sequel (kind of like Another 48 HRS and Another Stakeout) but still worth a watch. **3.0/5**
