Gajendra

Gajendra, portrayed by Vijayakanth, is the Tamil remake of the Telugu film Simhadri and was later dubbed in Hindi as Return of Khuda Gawah. He is an orphan who is adopted and raised within the care of Azhagarsamy (Sarath Babu), who treats him as his own son. Kasthuri (Flora), Azhagarsamy's granddaughter, falls in love with Gajendra. Gajendra also takes care of a mentally ill girl named Indhu (Laya). The remainder of the story unravels the reason behind his devotion to her.
