In the early days of the Sirius War, Feng Yin, a newcomer to the battlefield, established himself as a rising cadre of super-warriors on the front line through a sequence of heroic engagements. However, while trailing his superiors, he was ambushed by the Gokai Black Army and forced to retreat. The rear base lay cold and desolate, until Feng Yin encountered a familiar figure—the comrade-in-arms from the previous battle who appeared as an ordinary man. He believed this ally had perished in a sneak attack by the Black Army, only to discover he remained unharmed. He greeted him from days past, but the other man offered no acknowledgment. Feng Yin grew suspicious that this person might have colluded with the Black Army, so he conducted a covert inquiry and learned that the man's life experience was shrouded in mystery, with the only certainty being that he called himself Wang Ye.
