Garage Sale Mystery
Jennifer Shannon has a knack for spotting a diamond in the rough at garage sales, turning her treasure-hunting prowess into a thriving career. Whether it's an antique to sell at her consignment shop, an Atari game for her son, or a piece of furniture for her handy husband Jason to refurbish, she has built a reputation for her keen eye and problem-solving instincts. When a string of burglaries hits her town, Jennifer's attention to detail leads her to see a connection between these crimes and local garage sales. Jennifer works with Detective Adam Iverson to investigate her theory that the perpetrators are fellow garage sale regulars. The case escalates to dangerous levels when Jennifer discovers the dead body of a friend. Even though the deceased's husband, Ben Douglas, finds nothing missing in their house, and the police label the death accidental, Jennifer suspects that the death may be related to the burglaries.

Antique shop owner Loughlin finds a friend dead in her house. The police call it accidental but she finds it suspicious and thinks someone is targeting garage sales. Cop Iverson quickly arrests a burglary couple who swear the woman was dead when they broke in. Loughlin finds slivers of evidence to solve the case, but there is only one suspect. Cozy housewife crime tale with lovely leading lady, but not much else. Further entries were much better, with more developed characters. First of a series which was recast but for Loughlin and Strange. Daughter Canning here has almost graduated college, whereas later she was much younger. She also ends up dating the cop which would not be continued.
