Get Some In!

Get Some In! is a British comedy series set in the 1950s, centered on Royal Air Force National Service. It aired on Thames Television from 1975 to 1978, with scripts written by John Esmonde and Bob Larbey, the creative duo behind the BBC sitcom The Good Life. The series took inspiration from the late 1950s and early 1960s National Service comedy The Army Game, as well as the nostalgic BBC sitcom Dad's Army, while its RAF backdrop provided enough distinctiveness to avoid feeling formulaic. A total of thirty-four half-hour episodes were produced. The show has never been fully repeated on terrestrial television, though UKTV Gold has broadcast the episodes uncut on cable.
