Getaway

Getaway is Australia's longest-running travel television program, premiering on 14 May 1992 and airing on the Nine Network alongside TLC. Its primary rival was The Great Outdoors on the Seven Network until 2009. A New Zealand edition, incorporating some local content, formerly aired on TV One and Prime TV. In its inaugural season the show focused on Australian resorts and locations, but by 1993 it expanded to cover overseas destinations.
