Gidget Grows Up
Following two years in Europe as an exchange student, Gidget returns to California only to find that the landscape of her world has shifted. The letters she penned to her beloved Moondoggie in a bid to spark his jealousy backfire, leaving her wary of love. Spurred by a televised address about making a meaningful difference, she heads to New York to serve as a youth worker at the United Nations. There, a proposal of marriage from an extremely wealthy Arabian sheik comes her way, yet she ultimately falls for a dashing but older Australian diplomat.
