Grounded for Life

Fresh out of high school, Sean Finnerty impregnated his girlfriend Claudia. Now she’s his wife, and at only 32 he’s suddenly the father of a 14-year-old daughter named Lily and two little boys, living with a constant tug-of-war between his need to be responsible and his desperate urge to be irresponsible. His judgmental father, Walt, and his devil-may-care brother, Eddie, offer no help at all. Whenever the family gathers, stories start to fly. Of course, Sean’s clan won’t let him finish a story; they interrupt, they debate, they derail, and they defend themselves—just like any good family would.
