Hairspray
Tracy Turnblad, a cheerfully full-figured teenager, earns a regular slot on the Corny Collins Dance Show. With her growing fame, she becomes a public voice for her beliefs, most notably the push for racial integration. In doing so, she attracts the wrath of the show's former star, Amber Von Tussle, and Amber's scheming, pro-segregation parents. The rivalry reaches a peak as Amber and Tracy contend for the title of Miss Auto Show 1963.
