Kanami, an office worker, and a cram school teacher planned a joint trip to Taiwan, but an influenza outbreak at their workplace left too few teachers and forced the trip to be canceled. Kanami travels to Taiwan alone. In a taxi, she meets Woo Shun. Later, after her passport is stolen, she meets Woo Shun again and stays at his guest house.
